My Curlies are Global!

Hi Curlies,

This past weekend, I attended my first seminar for natural hair and it was awesome. I met a group of young ladies called Visionary Roots. They did hair demonstrations on how to two strand twist natural hair and palm roll locks. It was very informative. During the demonstration, I spoke to one of the stylist who gave me a lot of insight on the benefits of olive oil and introduced me to some amazing products. I was also able to interact with an entire network of Curlies. It was awesome! I hope to attend another Natural Hair Seminar. I heard the next one is in August. I did try the olive oil as the stylist suggested and it has done wonders in keeping my hair moisturized. I also posted some pictures of the event.

I also noticed that my hair texture is starting to change. My hair is a lot thicker than when I initially did my big chop. My hair is also curling a lot more than it use to. I do not use as much curl pudding as I use to because my hair curls with just moisturizer and olive oil. I took some pictures of the productes that were presented at the event and hope that my natural hair experience continues to grow productively
